Bagging Terms of Service

Effective date: May 18, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of Bagging, including the Bagging website, waitlist, TestFlight beta, and iOS app when available. Bagging is operated by 1576136 B.C. Ltd., a British Columbia company.

By using Bagging, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Bagging.

What Bagging is

Bagging is a grocery price tracking service for shoppers. Bagging helps users record, compare, and understand grocery prices using information such as shelf prices, receipts, unit prices, store locations, and user-submitted price history.

Bagging is not a retailer, grocery store, delivery service, financial advisor, or price guarantee service.

Pre-launch and beta status

Bagging is currently in pre-launch. Features may be incomplete, unavailable, inaccurate, or changed before public release. TestFlight or beta versions may contain bugs, downtime, data resets, or experimental features.

Do not rely on Bagging as your only source of grocery, pricing, travel, budgeting, or purchasing decisions.

Accounts

When the app is available, you may need an account to use some features. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate account information
• Keeping your account secure
• All activity under your account
• Telling us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe your use creates risk, violates these terms, or harms Bagging or other users.

User submissions

Bagging relies on user-submitted grocery price information. You may submit information such as product names, prices, product sizes, store names, receipt photos, shelf-tag photos, corrections, and related notes.

You are responsible for what you submit. Do not submit information that:

• Is false, misleading, fabricated, or intentionally inaccurate
• You do not have the right to submit
• Contains unnecessary sensitive personal information
• Contains another person's private information without permission
• Violates law, contract, or third-party rights
• Is abusive, spammy, malicious, or intended to manipulate Bagging's data

You should avoid submitting full payment details, loyalty account numbers, prescription information, or other information that Bagging does not need.

License to user submissions

You keep ownership of any rights you have in content you submit. By submitting content to Bagging, you give Bagging a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, store, reproduce, modify, analyze, display, and use that content to operate, improve, and promote Bagging.

This includes using submitted prices and related information to build grocery price history, show comparisons, improve data quality, and create aggregated or de-identified price insights.

Price accuracy

Bagging depends on user submissions, receipt data, store information, and processing systems that may be incomplete or wrong. Prices may vary by location, date, promotion, membership status, taxes, fees, product size, product variant, or store policy.

Bagging does not guarantee:

• That any listed price is current, complete, or accurate
• That a store will honour a price shown in Bagging
• That a product is available
• That a trip to another store will save money
• That price comparisons include every nearby store or product

Use your own judgment before making purchases.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Interfere with or disrupt Bagging
• Attempt to access systems, accounts, or data without permission
• Scrape, harvest, or bulk extract Bagging data without written permission
• Reverse engineer or attempt to copy non-public parts of Bagging, except where allowed by law
• Submit malicious code, spam, or abusive content
• Use Bagging to harass, identify, or target individuals
• Manipulate price data or submit fake prices
• Use Bagging in a way that violates applicable law

Intellectual property

Bagging, including its name, brand, website, app, interface, software, data structures, and other materials, is owned by 1576136 B.C. Ltd. or its licensors.

These terms do not give you ownership of Bagging or permission to use Bagging's brand assets except as allowed by law or with written permission.

App Store and TestFlight

If you access Bagging through Apple's TestFlight or the App Store, your use may also be governed by Apple's terms, including the Apple Developer, TestFlight, App Store, and standard end-user license terms that apply to apps distributed through Apple.

If there is a conflict between these terms and Apple's mandatory terms for your use of the app, Apple's mandatory terms apply to that conflict.

Third-party services

Bagging may rely on third-party services, such as hosting, authentication, analytics, maps, storage, app distribution, or other infrastructure providers. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information. By using Bagging, you acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

Changes to Bagging

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Bagging at any time. We may add or remove features, change eligibility, impose limits, or stop offering the service.

Termination

You may stop using Bagging at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if we believe you violated these terms, created risk, or used Bagging in a harmful or unlawful way.

Some sections of these terms will continue after termination, including sections about user submissions, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and governing law.

Disclaimers

Bagging is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 1576136 B.C. Ltd. and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost savings, business interruption, or purchase decisions made using Bagging.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims related to Bagging will be limited to the greater of CAD $50 or the amount you paid to Bagging in the 12 months before the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some limits may not apply to you.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 1576136 B.C. Ltd. from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of Bagging, your submissions, or your violation of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict of law rules.

You agree that disputes will be handled by the courts located in British Columbia, Canada, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Bagging develops. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of Bagging after changes means you accept the updated terms.
